Author. Advocate. & Mother
Lula W. Wallace is a Christian, author, advocate, and retired federal leader whose life has been shaped by faith, family, service, and purpose. During a career spanning more than thirty-five years with the United States Department of Agriculture, she served in senior leadership roles, including Senior Program Manager and Chief of Staff.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Humanities and a master’s degree in Strategic Communications. Her study of the humanities helped shape her understanding of people, culture, faith, and the stories that connect us, perspectives that continue to influence her writing and advocacy. Today, she advocates for safer roads and communities through Families for Safe Streets.
Write the Vision: A Life Lived on Faith is her first book. Written in honor of her daughter, Alexis Nicole Wallace, the memoir is a mother’s witness to a remarkable life rooted in faith, purpose, discipline, love, and an unwavering relationship with God. Through Nicole’s story, Lula invites readers to consider what it means to live intentionally, trust God, and faithfully pursue the vision placed on one’s heart.

“Her life was a testimony. This book is simply the record of it.”
Why I Wrote This Book.
I wrote Write the Vision: A Life Lived on Faith to honor my daughter, Alexis Nicole Wallace, and preserve the story of the remarkable life she lived.
Nicole’s faith shaped her choices, strengthened her through life’s challenges, and inspired the people around her. Through these pages, I wanted readers to know not only what she experienced, but also the courage, love, and purpose with which she lived.
